South Indian Bank Limited has released the recruitment notification for the post of Junior Officer (Operations). Contract Period and Career Progression

• The Junior Officer (Operations) appointment is initially on a 3-year contract, renewable at the sole discretion of the Bank based on performance evaluation.
• After completing the initial contract or any extension, high-performing employees may be considered for regular employment as Assistant Manager (Scale I), subject to prevailing Bank norms. This is discretionary and is not a guaranteed promotion or conversion to permanent employment.
• The mandatory minimum service agreement applicable to regularly recruited staff does not apply to this contractual position.

The maximum age limit is 28 years as of the cut-off date 30-09-2026 (minimum age is not separately specified). Candidates must have been born on or after 01-10-1998, subject to the prescribed relaxation.
